I just so happened to Google good breakfast near me and this place pops up. I live near and pass often but you will miss it because they are within an office building. But oh my good food was very good and priced well. The staff/owner was very nice and assisted with my needs....4 stars
The best pancakes in the morning with always fresh hot coffee. Perfectly crispy on the edges and fluffy in the middle. For lunch the spicy pork is the best lunch you can get on Bowie without a doubt. Wish it was open 7days a week.
What a nice family cafe/deli; clean, open, well ventilated, expansive menu of offerings and specials with asian touch. I came in well after breakfast menu stopped and at end of lunch hour but asked for coffee and was kindly told coffee was no longer served, had excellent blt and water and about 1/2 way through my sandwich the owner appeared with a fresh cup of coffee on the house. I couldn't thank him enough for that kindness. I won't have to think twice about frequenting Uptown again.
Food is delicious and priced well, and the staff are very nice. It's also in a very convenient place, in the middle of an office park with not many other options unless you want to get on the highway. I know they're building space for other shops nearby, but no matter what pops up this place will always be my go-to.
Awesome family owned cafe! They have great priced breakfast items, tasty cold and hot lunch sandwiches, a DELICIOUS hot bar, mouth watering subs - and if you are a healthy eater they have salads that they prepare and you can ask for meat on it if you want - I often ask for a scoop of chicken salad on top. Soups in the winter and healthy drink options in the coolers. Great place!
Mr. Kim, the owner, is super friendly, definitely say hi to him! This place is great for a quick hot or cold sandwich. Everything is good. There are some healthier wrap options. They make several hot foods daily during lunch, and they make fries (obvious bonus for a sub shop!). If you're coming just for the cafe, I recommend parking behind the building, as there is a door directly into the cafe from outside.
I’ve been here a number of times now and each time is as good as the last. The food is consistently good and the prices are very reasonable! I love the pancake breakfast, they’re so fluffy.
Great deli set in an office environment. Fresh made to order sandwiches...I went for the chicken Caesar wrap. Hot grilled chicken with fresh lettuce and a tangy Caesar sauce. Hit the spot! 🤙
As others are sharing the meals served here are great, for both breakfast and lunch. I personally love their cheesesteaks and omelette meals! Random side note: if your not picky the fries are underrated but yes a lil expensive, get some salt and black pepper packets from the condiments area shake it it up on the fries in the bag and they go from decent to elite.
